For a normal newbie (no ticket or alt or friend) distributing status based on your dream job may be very hard. Because without no party at all having a weakness is a no no. So all I could suggest is, raise int above everything for mage. Dex for hunters wanna be, Str for knight wanna be.
Basic :
Wizard = Can heal and Can attack pretty good. Wanted in party because of MP skill. (Int/dex)
Cleric = Can heal greater than Wizard. Wanted in most pt because of massive healing. (Int/ vit)
Knight = High DPS and High Def. Wanted in most pt because of their damage/tanks (str/vit) (str/dex)
Sniper = Heal Effect status like poison. A bit DPS too but low def. Wanted because can spam Arrow Rain and cure poisons. (Dex/str) (dex/agi)
